Fluffy Cream-Filled Buns

1️⃣ Prepare the dough

  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • Add the egg and warm milk.
  • Mix until a rough dough forms.

2️⃣ Knead

  • Add the soft butter.
  • Knead by hand or mixer for 10–12 minutes until smooth, elastic, and soft.
    👉 The dough should be slightly sticky but stretchy.

3️⃣ First rise

  • Shape into a ball and place in a lightly greased bowl.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–1½ hours, until doubled in size.

4️⃣ Shape the buns

  • Punch down the dough and divide into 6 equal pieces.
  • Shape each piece into a smooth round bun.
  • Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

5️⃣ Second rise

  • Cover loosely and let rise again for 30–40 minutes until puffy.

6️⃣ Bake

  • Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F).
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, until lightly golden on top.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack.
